Autobiography
Cath began her art
instruction at a very young age at the Atlas Art
Studio in Westfield NJ, placing in shows with
her work in pastel. Her art studies
continued at Covenant College on Lookout
Mountain, TN. She studied watercolor with Skip
Lawrence in Laurel MD and with Phyllis Reif in
Philadelphia PA. She also painted house
renderings for builders and realtors in
Columbia, MD. After raising the "Seven
Sisters" plus three more budding artists, she
has returned to her art. Her specialty is
houses and farms for people whose homes are
special to them. She enjoys taking beautiful
snapshots to paint while biking on Maryland's
farmlands and bike trails. Believing that
imitation is the highest form of flattery she
views art as a way God ad Creator
and she believes that creation is a "silent
sermon."
